Sarah grew up in Southern California. After graduating from SDSU with her Bachelors in Multimedia Design (with honors), Sarah attended The French Culinary Institute in Northern California graduating at the top of her class in 2011. She worked in the bay area at Mayfield Bakery, Wayfare Tavern and Michelin 3-starred Saison.

In 2014, Sarah moved to Austin, Texas to take a position as Pastry Lead at Uchiko. In 2015, she helped open Counter 3.FIVE.VII as Pastry Chef and running social media, as well as receiving her Introductory Sommelier Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. In the beginning of 2017 Sarah took over as pastry chef Barley Swine where she stayed until late 2018.

Since then, she has consulted for Jester King Brewery & Kitchen, and got married going from Ms. Prieto to Mrs. Listrom. July 2019, Sarah Listrom will be the Executive Pastry Chef for ARRIVE Hotel, East Austin with restaurant concepts Vixen’s Wedding and Lefty’s Brick Bar.
